About Sycamore Bridge Advisory
At Sycamore Bridge Advisory, we help nonprofit boards and leadership teams strengthen governance, financial resilience, and leadership effectiveness with clarity and trusted counsel.
Founder Scott Reynolds brings over two decades of experience in corporate law, nonprofit financial leadership, board service, and executive management. His career spans roles as a corporate attorney in a global law firm, general counsel to nonprofit organizations, fractional CFO, trustee of a private college, and leader of a multi-location business.
Scott’s work is grounded in three principles:
Stewardship — helping boards and leadership teams act with integrity and responsibility.
Clarity — bringing structure, alignment, and practical tools to complex leadership and governance challenges.
Endurance — supporting long-term leadership health and organizational resilience.
Scott serves both faith-based and secular nonprofit organizations, with a particular focus on board leadership, financial stewardship, governance alignment, and leadership transitions.
Why the name Sycamore Bridge?
On our family property, a bridge crosses a creek where a thriving sycamore tree helps protect the bridge from erosion — the tree’s deep roots stabilizing the creek bank. This is a living reminder of what nonprofit leadership should be: rooted, enduring, and built with care to sustain and protect the mission over time. That same philosophy guides the work we do with boards and leadership teams.
